The aim of this course is to provide applied training in the subject for development of skills for a successful career in entrepreneurship and as well as to generate technically trained human resource for tissue culture industries. Further, this virtual training program will also provide the sound knowledge on Large Scale Micropropagation, skill enhancement techniques and approaches involved in the Commercial plant tissue culture technology.

A former Chief Scientist CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine Jammu India. He has 40 Years of Research and Teaching experience in the field of Medicinal Plant Biotechnology (Plant Tissue Culture). Recently he hold the Membership of several National and International societies.

He is a retired Scientist (G,) from G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development (GBPNIHESD), Almora (UA), India. He has more than 40 years of experience in the field of plant tissue culture technology with reference to conservation of biodiversity of medicinal plants of Indian Himalyana region.

He is Principal Scientist & Head, Biotechnology, more than 30 years of research experience in the field of plant cell, tissue and organ culture biotechnology.
