Introduction to the underlying principles and applications of the emerging field of Nanotechnology and Nano-science. Intended for a multidisciplinary audience with a variety of backgrounds. Introduces toolsand principles relevant to the nanoscale dimension. Discusses current and future nanoscience and its applications in materials physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, biotechnology, and other branches of science.

Syllabus

 

  • Introduction to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Nano-scale material implication for physics, chemistry, engineering, and biology and motivation for nano study.
  •  History and development of nano-science and nano-technology with emphasis on natural products.
  • Nanostructure: various type of nanostructure and nanocrystals.Fabrication of Nano-materials by Physical Methods.
  • Methods of production of nanomaterialof physics, chemistry, biology, and natural product.
  • Nano-composites: An Introduction: Types of Nanocomposite. Properties of nano material. Nanoscience and Environment.
  • Supra-molecular Chemistry and Biology. Organic and Inorganic Nanomaterials. Organic and Inorganic Nanomaterials. Nanotechnology in Energy Conversion and Storage.
